A small company with big ideas, started off with Bistro 21, a gourmet takeaway serving Strabane and surrounding areas.This has grown to include an extensive outside catering option with the company doing everything from simple finger food to a four course dinner, in homes and Venues all over the North West, and has progressed to wedding catering. Michael
I have been involved in catering in some form for all of my life. From being a chef, to a hotel manager it has always been a dream of mine to work for myself.
For several years Barry and I have discussed working together and we finally got the opportunity to do so when a local building came up for lease in the early months of 2021, which is now known as Bistro 21.
Barry and I each have skill sets that perfectly compliment each other. Barry is the foodie of the business, he is constantly looking for the latest, exciting dishes and sourcing new products to make use of. Whilst I work tirelessly behind the scenes to manage the marketing and organisational side of the business.
Together, with the help of our exceptional staff, we make a powerful team and I hope to continue growing the business for many years to come.
Barry
I have worked in the hospitality industry for 26 years as I always had a passion for food. Over this time I have gained a lot of experience from working in various restaurants and eventually I was able to develop my own style of cooking. I enjoy being creative, developing new menu ideas and introducing different flavours.
I have always wanted to open my own business and when the opportunity arose I couldn't let it pass me by especially when my business partner would be Michael. We work great as a team as we bring our own strengths to the business. With these strengths myself and Michael and our amazing hard working staff are building a great business which is going from strength to strength.
With continued passion, creativity, and hard work from us all I look forward to seeing what the future holds.
